Happy Nurses Week!
May 6th through May 12th is the week designated to celebrate and appreciate all that nurses do. Personally, I think it should be a whole month – and then that still would not be long enough.
A few FAQ’s about Nurses Week:
1. Nurses Week ends on Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12th.
2. A Nurses Day was originally proposed in 1953.
3. The first official National Nurses Week was held in 1974, after an official proclamation by the White House.
